It’s amazing how many results you get when you do a simple search on the web containing “college student” and “diet”. The majority of your results are healthy eating tips and articles containing advice for college students. I sometimes wonder if the people writing these articles remember what it’s like to be in college, or even if they’ve ever been to college. Well I remember; I just started.
In the United States, Canada, England and many other countries New Year’s Day is an enormous celebration. People gather with family and friends to share the beginning of the New Year. But the day now celebrated as the New Year hasn’t always been January 1st.
As a child, most of my days were spent at my grandparent’s house. They owned close to two acres of land and my mother worked fulltime, leaving this property as a playground for my older sister, cousin, and I during the day. There was an endless amount of activities, and there was never a moment of boredom. We were free to roam the entire two acres.
